Reinforce EHRs with HIV/AIDS Research & Reporting Functionality

AVIGA REPORTER™ is a research/reporting tool to augment general purpose electronic health record (EHR) solutions and, unlike the full-scale AVIGA™ EHR solution, is a stand-alone product designed specifically for the purposes of HIV/AIDS reporting and research. AVIGA REPORTER™ provides digital assistance with HIV data and simplifies the research/reporting process so healthcare professionals can focus more on what matters: their patients and providing better care.

Given the exclusive focus on reporting and research functions for HIV data, AVIGA REPORTER™ does not meet the added conditions required by law for meaningful use in an EHR. However, the AVIGA™ EHR solution, will meet standards set by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) as a certified platform in 2011 and contains more EHR-specific functionalities including computerized physician order entry (for procedures, prescriptions, laboratory and imaging tests, etc.), medication management, clinical encounters, and components that support quality improvement.
