AVIGA REPORTER™. Knowledge that Cares.
Transforming HIV Data into Knowledge That Cares
AVIGA REPORTER™

AVIGA REPORTER™ is designed by the professionals at Janssen Diagnostics, Inc. who understand the complexities of HIV care and the unique reporting and research needs of healthcare professionals working on the front lines. The data required by the Ryan White CARE program1 and other federal or state reporting requirements to access resources for care can be daunting. AVIGA REPORTER™ leverages a powerful data mining capability to help providers in collecting the information they need to coordinate care, access resources, and follow the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) clinical guidelines for how HIV care should be provided.2

Even if a clinic already uses another electronic health record (EHR), AVIGA REPORTER™ offers useful, HIV-specific functionality not found with other enterprise EHRs. AVIGA REPORTER™ interfaces with other commercial EHRs and software applications, specifically capturing and configuring medical information necessary for HIV reporting or research.

AVIGA REPORTER™:

  • Simplifies, collects and assembles information required by the Ryan White CARE program3 or other government mandated reports.
    • The Ryan White HIV/AIDS biannual Services Report (RSR) to report information on programs and clients served.
    • HIV-specific reports (beyond Ryan White CARE program)
      • HIVQual (HIV Quality Management Report)4
      • HIV/AIDS Collaborative5
      • Surveillance reports for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
  • Extracts vital information to assess feasibility of clinical trials, outcomes research, and grant proposals with a few strokes of the keyboard.
    • Easy to use querying function can sort and mine data by key word or numeric function [e.g., antiretroviral (ARV) use, CD4 counts, viral load, HIV resistance tests, etc.]
    • Summary statistics (patient populations, tests, numeric data, quality metrics)
    • Quickly complete audits so more time can be dedicated to patient care
    • Pursue other sources of funding opportunities and resources by having quick access to database information
  1. The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) program enacted by Congress in 1990 and reauthorized in 1996, 2000, 2006, and 2009 has created a system of services for improving the quality and availability of healthcare services for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
